We know that children thrive on consistency and routine. Our daily structure provides just the right
balance between play, learning, and rest always led by the children’s needs and interests.
At Scribbles Early Learning Centre, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework the national standard for learning, development, and care for children from birth to five years old.
This framework underpins everything we do. It helps us ensure every child receives a balanced, engaging, and age-appropriate experience that nurtures their curiosity, independence, and confidence.
We focus on the seven key areas of learning through play, discovery, and meaningful interactions. Our skilled practitioners tailor activities to each child’s interests and developmental stage – encouraging imagination, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for learning.
At Scribbles, every day is an opportunity to explore, create, and grow in a space that feels safe, joyful, and full of wonder.
At Scribbles ELC, our program reflects the rich diversity of our community, integrating culturally diverse information and perspectives that provide opportunities for children to thrive in an unbiased curriculum.
We carefully arrange the environment and teaching materials to promote active learning, problem solving, and independence.
The Baby Room offers stimulating experiences that foster each child’s development. We provide opportunities for play, both planned and spontaneous, that cater to individual interests in a nurturing, caring, and safe environment.
The flexible curriculum adapts to each child’s routine and needs.
Small-group activities with developmentally appropriate lesson plans. A holistic approach supports the needs of young children and prepares them for the pre-school environment.
Our programs use high-quality teaching practices where teachers and children are active partners in the learning process, guided by both individual and collective interests.
Literacy and mathematical concepts form the core foundation of school readiness, helping children build skills to support their transition to primary school.
Our youngest learners enjoy a calm, nurturing routine that gently supports their social, physical, and emotional development.
Our preschoolers enjoy a day filled with purposeful play and early learning experiences that prepare them for school and beyond.
Starting nursery is a big milestone – for both children and parents. That’s why we offer settling-in sessions before your child’s first official day.
Each session is short (between 15 minutes and 1 hour) and personalised to your child’s pace and comfort level. These sessions allow your child to meet their key person, explore their surroundings, and begin to feel at home.
We’ll work closely with you throughout this process, sharing updates and ensuring you feel confident about your child’s transition into nursery life.
Our goal is simple: to make every child feel safe, secure, and excited to come to Scribbles each day.
Strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do.
Every child at Scribbles is paired with a Key Person – a dedicated member of staff who builds a close, trusting bond with your child and supports their care, learning, and emotional wellbeing.
This personal connection helps your child feel secure and confident, making their learning experience more meaningful and enjoyable.
We believe the best learning happens when parents and educators work hand in hand.
Our goal is to keep you informed and involved in your child’s progress every step of the way.
We see parents as partners together, we create the foundation for happy, confident, lifelong learners.
At Scribbles, our approach to early learning is built on love, laughter, and learning.
Through the EYFS framework, caring relationships, and open communication, we create a safe and inspiring environment where every child can flourish one scribble at a time
