A morning service is held every Sunday at 10:30. Four times a year the service will include the Sacrament of Communion.
Additional services are held from time to time and at Christmas (e.g. Christingle family service and a Watchnight Service) see News section
Special services are also held from time to time at Cunnigar House Care Home in the village and also at a venue in Pumpherston village (which is part of the Parish) – See News section
A Sunday Club is held on a Sunday during School term times where children age 4 upwards strt in the church and after the Minister’s children’s address leave to the Glenalmond Hall for the remainder of the service.
Tea or Coffee is provided after most services in the Glenalmond Hall – All welcome! Occasionally special lunches will be held in place of this.

You are very welcome to arrange a visit to see how suitable The Kirk of Calder would be for any forthcoming wedding. The historic Grade A listed church can hold up to 400 people.
Photography is permitted by arrangement with the minister. Both traditional and same sex marriages can be arranged.
An accessible toilet is available in the Malt Barn (separate small building in the graveyard 50 metres from the Church), and full M&F facilities and an accessible toilet are available in the Church hall (Glenalmond Hall) 200metres North on Main Street)

Baptisms will be part of a normal Sunday church service and the child or adult is welcomed by the full congregation. There are no charges for a Baptism.

Funerals can be held in the church before an interment in the graveyard or a cremation elsewhere. These are normally arranged by your Funeral Director in conjunction with the minister.

Note, private baptisms are not facilitated, baptisms are part of normal Sunday church service where the infant becomes part of the church’s family. The Minister’s services are free.
