Kirk of Calder is a welcoming Church of Scotland parish serving Mid Calder and the surrounding areas of West Lothian.
A church has stood on this site since the 12th century, with the present building dating from 1541 and an extension added in 1860. The church is a Category A listed building and continues to be a place of worship, community, and fellowship today.
While our building has a rich history, our focus remains on the people who make up our church community worshipping together, supporting one another, and welcoming all who visit.
Kirk of Calder provides welcoming spaces for church organisations, community
groups, meetings, and private hire. Our facilities offer flexible options for gatherings of
different sizes, with accessible facilities available.
ocated approximately 200 metres north of the church on Main Street, Glenalmond Hall is used by church organisations and is also available for community and private hire.
